Prompt #37
Fear not, she hath risen!!

Hello!! Last week, I mentioned this podcast episode, where I learned that political candidates in the old days used to just tell the press their opponent was dead to win the election. (very brat) Without modern media, it was hard to dispel these rumors. To me, this is the funniest thing Americans have ever done, and we should bring it back. Ah, simpler times. Anyway, today’s prompt is inspired by that.

So, today, we are writing about a character that has just learned people think they are dead. How would they react?
To lighten the load, if you don’t want to create a character yourself, you can pick an existing character you’re familiar with just for the sake of the exercise. Ie. Homer Simpson learns people think he’s dead.
Set your timer. Write for at least 10 minutes! Ready, go!!

I’m watching Glicked.
I’m reading this companion article to today’s prompt about a guy who had to convince a court that he wasn’t dead, titled: Man Says He's Not Dead. Court Doesn't Buy It—also, this piece from about how writers are pissed their scripts have been used to train AI.
I’m listening to Wicked, obviously—also the new Amber Mark and Tyler the Creator.

How did it go? Let me know in the comments, or email me back! See ya next week. Write with ya later. :)
