New year, new writing projects! Today’s prompt isn’t a creative writing assignment, but it involves applying something we sometimes apply to our characters—the concept of “wants” vs. “needs”—to ourselves. We can do this periodically during the year to guide our writing work. Introspection! We love.

What are your wants and needs for this year? This can be writing-related or personal. I did one of each.
