Prompt #49

We are back with another writing prompt! I moved recently into a high-rise building, and one thing I didn’t know about tall buildings…the elevator takes forever. Thankfully, I don’t give off an approachable vibe, so people typically don’t talk to me. But today, the unthinkable happened: my neighbor wanted to get to know me. In this economy?? Insane. BUT a great starter for a scene work exercise!

Write a scene with two or more characters riding to the top floor of a high-rise building.

Set a timer and write for at least 10 minutes!

I’m listening to… new albums by the ladies of Blackpink - Jenni & Lisa’s new albums just came out, and Jenni’s has a particularly good Childish Gambino x Kali Uchis collab.
